PROGRAMME NAME

When did you first develop an interest in marketing?

Studying Media, Art & Photography at A-Levels became the catalyst for me to begin a career in marketing as I enjoy creating and examining creative marketing content.

As a naturally creative individual, I have always had a great appreciation for smart, effective, and eye-catching marketing.

What attracted you to Springpod, how was your experience of using it and how did it affect your career direction?

What first attracted me to Springpod was their graphic design virtual work experience. Graphic design is an integral part of marketing, and it was an area that I lacked in professional experience. Their two-week virtual work experience gave me a great understanding of the fundamentals of graphic design which included colour, typography, and the power of imagery.

Springpod’s work experience gave me valuable knowledge of graphic design which I in turn use every day at my current apprenticeship as I create designs for my company’s social media.

What advice would you give someone considering a marketing apprenticeship?

The advice I would give someone who is considering starting a career in the digital marketing industry is to begin developing your creative side, whether it be for designing, problem-solving or copywriting. I would also advise individuals to apply to every digital marketing apprenticeship possible and to utilise the rejections to further improve their interview performance. However, my biggest piece of advice would always be to never underestimate the work experience you have and to always seek out new opportunities to develop your skills, knowledge, and confidence.

Springpod is the perfect place to find them as they have multiple great opportunities with great companies.
